Basic Laws of Life

1. God is God; you’re not.

2. God is eternal; you aren’t.

3. God has all power; you don’t.

4. God knows everything; you only think you do at times.

5. God created the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in them; you can do little in comparison.

6. God’s ways are always right; yours fall far short of perfection.

7. God’s Laws are good and perfect; it’s your life that’s messed up by sin.

8. God has determined the bounds of your earthly life; your best efforts to avoid death will ultimately fail.

9. God is the Judge of all; you will stand before Him on the Last Day.

10. God has provided eternal salvation for all through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, His Son; any efforts to save yourself, apart from Christ, will fail in God’s judgment.
